The technique of detection of prevailing economic activity in the particular region

The article sets a methodological task of identification of the prevailing economy type by analyzing existing territorial proportions in the economic activity. The author suggests a complex technique, which parameters don't depend on specific types of economic activity and allow to identify with high reliability the regions developing with prevalence of a single type of economic activity. In this regard there has been developed a step-by-step algorithm based on the use of soft filters, allowing eliminating in series those objects under consideration, which don't meet the set conditions.
