Methodological aspects of studying security in the contemporary society

The article deals with a security phenomenon in the circumstances of the contemporary society. The author proves that reality with its changing nature requires reconsideration of the methodology for analysis of the safety. In this regard heuristic potential of the synergetic theory is considered.
