Methodological and conceptual opportunities of neo-institutional approach in contemporary ethnic social studies

In the article the main methodological and conceptual opportunities which the Neo-institutionalism provides for contemporary ethnic social studies in the modern world are analyzed. Considering the sociological history of the Neo-institutionalism formation in social sciences the author emphasizes the main methodological and heuristic potential of the approach in ethnogenesis and ethnic conflict studies.
