Methodological features of the network analysis application in the study of youth online communities

The article deals with theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of social networks and youth Internet communities. The possibility of application of the graph theory to the analysis of virtual social networks is analyzed. Special attention is paid to the history and development of the network analysis methodology. The author considers in detail interpretations of the social networks in various liberal arts and socioeconomic sciences.
