Methodological features of socio-economic studies of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation

Some of the methodological features of the organization of socio-economic studies in the Russian Arctic, aimed at the implementation of the "Strategy of socio-economic development of the Russian Arctic”, are discussed. The necessity of the territorial monitoring of economic and sociological research at the regional and municipal levels as an essential prerequisite for the balanced development of the subjects of the Federation constituting the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, is substantiated.
