Methodological approaches to the study of the cultural policy in the modern period

The article deals with the principal methods and approaches to the study of the interaction between politics and culture, and cultural policy. The author gives an analytical summary of the research work in the field of various models of the cultural policy and regards the issue of the formation of the cultural identity within the context of the change of the administrative paradigm in the sphere of culture in the modern Russia.
