The article proposes an author's vision of assessing the economic efficiency of innovative projects for digital transformation in design organizations, based on a systematic and resource-oriented approach, which differs in its comprehensive consideration of the benefits of digital transformation in the design of industrial facilities, including the consideration of digital capital and the unique digital factor of success. The article outlines an author's method for assessing the economic efficiency of innovative projects for digital transformation in design organizations using economic and mathematical modeling with the objective function of maximizing the profitability index.
