Methodological approaches for the forecasting of innovative development of dairy cattle

The article discusses the main methodological approaches and methods for developing forecasts for the innovative development of dairy cattle breeding as an objectively necessary condition for the effective selection of a longterm industry development strategy with a systematic account of consumer, intellectual and innovative characteristics. Attention is paid to the use of combined forecasting methods, including formalized, intuitive, expert, taking into account risk management, which improves the quality of the forecast. The reasons for the decline in the production of dairy cattle breeding are identified and the forecast parameters are justified using the methods of economic and mathematical modeling, which will create prerequisites for innovative development of the industry and expanded reproduction at the regional level.
