The comparative approach of online campaigns at the international level, on which this study is based, allows highlighting the issue of embedding the digital political space into various others. Indeed, it is impossible to compare online campaigns internationally without questioning the influence of numerous elements on these campaigns and their variations. It is necessary to determine the extent to which national differences observed offline can influence digital campaigns, and also to see to what extent they tend to decrease over time (with the homogenization of political and media systems or legislation).
