The research methodology of analysis of foreign students’ socialization problems: linguistic context

The article discusses the methodology of the study of a number of problems associated with the processes of foreign students’ socialization in foreign language environment. The paper highlights cultural differences and social problems, in consequence of which the process of foreign students’ adaptation is becoming sociocultural. The author distinguishes the stages of sociocultural adaptation, notes the need to consider the following categories in the study of the adaptation process effectiveness: values, ethnic peculiarities, national character, communicative and behavioral and activities, etc.
