Te methodology of metropolitan Anthony (Bloom) of Sourozh

Te article focuses on the methodology of the theological way of thinking of Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom), which has not been discussed in its structural dimension before, in order to reveal its theoretical basis for which the method of hierarchical triads is offered as the one corresponding to Metropolitan’s analytical reasoning. Metropolitan Anthony briefly formulated and extensively applied his method in his last talks published in the book “Confidence In Tings Unseen”. In terms of structuring, analyzing and synthesizing a thought, as well as consistency of thinking, it can be clearly seen that Metropolitan Anthony is persistently trying to teach his listeners to develop their thoughts according to the scheme that can be presented as a (system) hierarchical triad: System-generating, System, and System-destructing. Tis method is onto-gnoseological, discrete-continuous, intensive-extensive, didactic, and its significance is so immutable for Metropolitan Anthony that his theology can be called didactic and methodological.
