Leasing process management methodology based on platform business models

The development of leasing relations presupposes the existence of an adequate methodological basis for evaluating the effectiveness of the leasing process for the development of market relations. The article aims to describe the methodology for assessing and managing the leasing process from the standpoint of taking into account the interests of the lessee and the factors of its external and internal environment. The main methods used in the study were the methodology for modeling the cash flows of the enterprise - recipient and the method of discounting its cash flows generated with the participation of an industrial enterprise in the leasing process. The proposed author’s methodology is a universal tool for assessing and managing the leasing process, which includes the strengths of advanced methods for evaluating the effectiveness of a leasing scheme for financing productive investments accumulated in scientific and special works of experts in the field of leasing. The proposed structure of the backbone features based on a set of methods for assessing leasing activity, leasing potential and leasing climate allows an industrial enterprise to generate management strategies for the leasing process based on the results of the analysis of operational performance indicators. The methodology of evaluation and management has practical value for a wide range of organizations that are considering the possibility of technological re-equipment of industrial production in the context of platform business networks.
