The article proves the urgency of development of the subjective life position of students. The analysis of the methodological foundations of studies of the subject in Russian psychology. Revealed theoretical approaches to the definition of subjective attitudes. Relying on the provisions of the system approach, the principle of determinism and subjectactivity analysis of mental phenomena, the authors point out the relationship of social well-being with the subjective attitude of the individual as integrative characteristics of personality, reflecting the value of the active-selective, proactive-responsible, transforming the attitude of man to himself, other people and the world in General. Describes the program of formation of positive social well-being through the development of the subjective life position of students.
