Methods of identification and assessment of risks in the company's activities

The article is devoted to the methodological aspects of risk assessment of business entities in a market economy. There are many different methods of risk assessment proposed in theoretical developments and regulations. Moreover, they all have disadvantages and advantages, certain areas of application. The methodological basis of this study is based on the comparison and complementarity of such methods of identification and risk assessment as the Porter's five competitive forces model, the intuitive method, Fishburne's rule and SWOT analysis. The theoretical basis was the works of such authors as V.V. Manuilenko, I.S. Pelymskaya, N.P. Tikhomirov.
