Methods for measurring the efficiency of seaport transport connections with hinterland

The paper deals with main approaches to the evaluation of sea ports impact on economic growth in the region. The two key approaches have been studied by the author. The first one is based on the assessment of running transport costs. The second approach is based on the assessment of external charges of the society on transport system functioning.
