Methods for studying the distribution of polypose rhinosinusitis

Resume: Polypoid rhinosinusitis is quite common, but oddly enough, poorly understood pathology of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. In general, the research data indicate that the prevalence of polyposis rhinosinusitis does not change significantly depending on the region. One of the few theories that had a direct entry into clinical practice was the neuro-reflex theory of polypous rhinosinusitis. It was based on the well-known position on the role of autonomic imbalance in the emergence and course of pathology of the mucous membranes. With the predominance of sympathetic impulses, atrophic and subatrophic processes occur, with the predominance of parasympathetic - vasomotor-polypous phenomena.
