Methods of evaluation of the working condition of cogwheels of powerful gear systems

Considered the currently applied methods of assessment of operational status of gear wheels, given their shortcomings. Proposed contactless operational control method, based on the processing of microwave signals reflected from controlled teeth of the wheel. Describes the effect of wear of teeth information on the characteristic parameters of the method. The block diagram of the device to control the information parameters, described its main blocks.
