The objective of this study was to assess the effect of vildagliptin and sitagliptin on the activity of dipeptidylpeptidase-4 by the methods of spectrophotometry and fluorometry using blood plasma and recombinant enzyme. The study showed that both methods can be used for screening substances with dipeptidylpeptidase-4.
