Methods of assessing the investment activity of the region

Investments are the most important element of supply factors, since, being a driving force, they contribute to the economic development of the country as a whole and of each specific region. The article discusses the nature and economic content of the region’s investment activity, as well as analyzes methods for assessing the region’s investment potential, and offers a comparative analysis. In the course of the analysis, the classification of investment risks, as well as the main indicators of the assessment methods, as a result of which key indicators were selected that affect the development of the investment activity of the territorial single, was performed. The proposed analysis allows to get the notion of the investment potential and risks associated with making investments, i.e. identify the main problems in creating a favorable investment environment and develop measures aimed at increasing the flow of investment in the economy of the region.
