Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the authors substantiate the relevance and the possibility of using the mathematical apparatus of fuzzy logic to study the belonging of electronic documents to the e-book system. The article reveals the conditions for the use of these methods in relation to electronic documents, carried out a theoretical analysis of various methods of constructing the membership function.
