Energy intensity is one of the main characteristics of technological processes, as energy costs constitute a tangible article of the total cost of production. Particularly energy-intensive are technological processes in metal forming, where the implementation of processes requires significant stress and effort, the moments of rotation of the working bodies of machines and mechanisms. The article discusses methods for optimizing energy consumption during rolling and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages.
