Currently, the majority of dental interventions are performed under local anesthesia. However, many patients complain of lengthy numbness of soft tissues after dental treatment. Impaired sensitivity can cause not only discomfort, but also serious injury in children and people with mental disorders. This review aims to analyze publications on the methods of decreasing the duration of numbness associated with local anesthetics.
