Methods of making decisions on law violation on the basis of sociological expertise data

This article deals with the techniques of making decisions on law violation, which may be grounded by data of a sociological expertise. The following concepts are under consideration: method of standards, minimal criterion, criterion of distinctions different from zero, statistical generalization criterion, majority criterion, and criterion of regularities. The author substantiates the appropriateness of application of the method of standards, describes its strong and weak points.
