Methods of development and implementation of strategies for international promotion of educational services

The article is devoted to topical problem of increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of Russian education on the international market of educational services in the light of the implementation of the project “Development of export potential of the Russian system of education” approved in 2017 by the Presidium of the presidential Council of the Russian Federation for strategic development and priority projects. The successful functioning of modern universities largely depends on the effective integration of Russian education into the world educational space. In this regard, the priority goal of domestic universities is to expand international cooperation by attracting foreign students to educational organizations. The authors of the article focus on the need to develop and implement strategic actions in the direction of international promotion of educational services, at least in two key stages: the search and attraction of foreign citizens in higher education; creating favorable conditions during the period of training of foreign citizens in high school. The main task of educational organizations is to conduct a comprehensive objective assessment of their strengths and weaknesses in order to develop an effective strategic policy document to ensure the promotion of educational services.
