With a huge potential impact on the masses mass-media can be used as a powerful tool to manipulate public opinion. Among the methods of shaping the public consciousness, used in the media are the following fundamentals: persuasion, suggestion, method of repetition, fragmentation of presenting information, a distraction from the important information, stereotyping. In this case, under the guise of "light" entertainment media introduces into the consciousness of children stereotypes not characteristic for our society's culture.
