Water erosion is an important factor that contributes to a decrease in soil fertility and an imbalance of agricultural landscapes. The article is devoted to the study of the features of the trickle erosion network and its structures in the arable lands of the drainage area of the Mud River. Large-scale mapping of the washout network using satellite images and geoinformation systems has been carried out. The use of modern remote methods and geoinformation systems allows for a deeper understanding of the spatial features of the erosion network. A technique for visually decoding washouts on high-resolution satellite images is presented, and the concept of "washout" is considered as a manifestation of trickle erosion, a relatively shallow but significant depression that develops as a result of linear erosion processes. As a result, data on the drainage network in the fields were obtained, its length, density and density were determined. The purpose of the study is to identify the spatial features and characteristics of the trickle erosion network on arable lands, which will allow taking into account linear forms of erosion and erosive fragmentation of the territory when developing effective measures to prevent and minimize the negative effects of water erosion of soils.
