International legal acts and Russian legislation on counteraction to crimes of extremistic direction

Analyzed international legal acts on the nature of extremism, the importance of combating extremist crimes. Considered are insufficiently developed in theory and in practice issues related to the problems of responsibility for crimes of an extremist nature, their correlation with crimes of a terrorist nature. Some amendments to the criminal legislation are proposed that contribute to a more successful fight against extremism in the Russian Federation.
