The appearance of space tourism, or, more correctly, private space flights, seemed to have posed a whole series of problematic issues of a legal nature. These consist mainly in the discrepancy between the public character of international outer space law and the thoroughly private character of such flights. And, despite space tourism seeks to give ordinary people the ability to become astronauts and travel into space for entertainment or business purposes, it can also pose a grave danger to individuals' health, as well as to the environmental situation of our planet as a whole.
