International strategic partnership of the Russian Federation: issues and prospects

The article is devoted to topical issues of strategic cooperation and economicinterests of the Russian Federation, Morocco and Mauritania in the energy sector.Special attention is paid to arguments in favor of strengthening bilateral relationsbetween the Russian Federation, Morocco and Mauritania in the oil and gas sector. Negotiations of the Russian Federation, Morocco and Mauritania at the highest level confirmed by the objective need and feasibility of enhancing the dialogue for mutually beneficial partnerships in the energy sector and in other sectors of the economy, but geopolitical features of some North African countries can not affect the implementation of joint projects, which are often frozen without explanation. The process of modern transformation of the energy interaction Mauritania, Morocco and Russia needs further consideration from the point of view of economic and international relations of these countries.
