International organizations as actors of modern international relations

The article is devoted to such aspect of modern international relations as increasing the role of non-state actors. The most influential non-state actors are international organizations. In recent decades, the influence of not only international intergovernmental organizations but also international non-governmental organizations has been increasing. Their impact on world politics is mostly indirect, and their functions are informational, educational and social. The role of international non-governmental organizations is considered on the example of organizations in the field of human rights protection.
