International Experience of Legal Regulation of Access to Data and their Protection on the Internet

Questions about ways to protect personal data are relevant, as they are not properly regulated. The goal is to resolve the issue and fix the “weak” points in the objective protection of personal data. The questions posed are investigated using the techniques of formal logic. Various aspects of the legal regulation of violated rights are analyzed, as well as the formation of basic principles for building processes related to information security, issues of access to personal data and legal protection. The author comes to the conclusion that the legislation needs to be updated, that the methods of legal protection are insufficient either as a preventive measure or as a compensatory one.
