Chekhov International Theatre Festival: development prospects in modern conditions

The article is devoted to the study of the specifics of the organization of the program of the Chekhov International Theater Festival in modern socio-cultural conditions. The author analyzes the ways of intercultural communication within the framework of the festival during the period of "cancellation" and Russian culture in Western countries. The goal is to formulate promising models that ensure the competent and full–fledged functioning of the festival. This work will interest a range of people who are engaged in research in the field of culture and theater in particular.
