The article studies mechanism of the consumer market subjects’ interaction, including goods/services providers, wholesale and retail traders, and final customers. It analyzes reasons of the retail chains’ role strengthening in the value engineering management. The author considers principles of harmonious and efficient cooperation of the retail chains with vendors in the process of the value making.
