Interethnic and cross-cultural conflicts between tourists and local population and their role in the processes of shaping of the negative image of Russia

The article considers the concrete examples of the tourists’ conflict situations taking place during tourists’ travels. The author suggests an original typology of conflicts in the tourism sphere. The reasons of the conflicts and consequences for all the conflicts participants are analyzed in the article.
