Interethnic relations in the southern federal district: major issues in the context of sanctions political regime (based on the results of ethno-political monitoring)

The article is prepared based on the results of ethnological monitoring in the regions of the Southern Federal District (conducted in 2015 and continuing the analytical work held in 2013-2014) and the analytical reports of experts applying various sociological methods of data accumulation that describe demographic, migration, historical and cultural, general political aspects of international relations and national politics. It is emphasized that against the background of external challenges and declining living standards in the regions of the Southern Federal District, there is intensification of conservative trends in political relations, and some growth of population consolidation and easing of interethnic tension.
