Interethnic relations in the system of national security in the Jewish autonomous region

Iinterethnic relations in the Jewish autonomous region are considered in the light of national security. A retrospective analysis of the formation and development of interethnic interactions in this social space shows that at all times, as well as these days, interethnic relations remain harmonious and tolerant. The authors state that prevention of xenophobia on ethnic grounds is a necessary condition to provide a national security in the region and in Russia as a whole. It is described the experience of combined actions by civil society organizations, government bodies and local self-government aimed at cultivating the conflict-free coexistence of poly-ethnic population.
