Inter-ethnic marriage as a mechanism of migrant integration and indicator of self-socialization of society under global transformations

The author differentiates formal and organic forms of integration of migrants into the host society as an entry into its social structure and culture, respectively. The article introduces the concept of auto-socialization of a society that is a part of its self-preservation and self-development activity. Socialization of migrants in relation to the culture of the host society (host-socialization) is one of the mechanism of the organic integration of migrants and a measure of self-socialization. The study shows the connection between the migrants consent to inter-ethnic marriage of their children and their adaptation, assimilation and integration into Russian society. This correlation allows to consider this consent as an indicator of host-socialization and organic integration of migrants, as well as of auto-socialization of Russian society.
