Intercultural aspects of academic mobility processes

The article is devoted to the analysis of aspects of intercultural communication, which become more and more important with the increase of the number of academic mobility programs. The latter plays a key role in estimating the efficiency of modern universities in the Russian Federation. Academic environment is described as culturally specific. It means that those enrolled in international academic programs have to possess a necessary level of intercultural communicative competence to integrate successfully into a new milieu.
