Interregional differentiation of spatial development of regions of the Russian federation

The authors substantiate the importance of reducing interregional differentiation. The main problems of strategic development of regions in modern conditions from the standpoint of improving the quality of life of the population in regions are considered. Bases on the analysis of ratings of social and economic indicators of development of regions of the Russian Federation the assessment of spatial development of regions is given. The necessity of further development of the interregional logistics system is pointed out. Measures to reduce disparities in development due to the development of the socio-cultural sphere of the regions are proposed.
