Mythological awareness of an ethnos in the conditions of ethnic neo-traditionalism

The author, defining the myth as a phenomenon of culture and initial awareness, concludes that in the conditions of the cultural globalization the process of ethnic neo-traditionalism is not only a natural result of the ethnos mythological awareness transformation, but also a significant way of keeping the traditions. The result of the study of the Khakass mythological awareness is revealing of the value assets of the ethnos, updated according to the context of the current reality.
