The plant introduction is closely connected with a problem of protection from pests and diseases. The aim of our work is to carry out monitoring of introduced pest species of tropical and subtropical plants in the PABGI greenhouses. In present, the sucking pest complex consists of five groups: aphids, mites, thrips, whitefly, scale coccids, presented by 16 pest species. Their degree of danger is determined. Regular diagnostic examinations have revealed the presence of pests on plants of 67 families. However, only 26 families, 675 species, are used by phytophags as foodder. The authors have classified the plants into families by the extent the taxa are subject to pests ). There are the families identified as resistant to phytophag colonization, including and those nonresistant. Regular observations over the size and injuriousness of entomofauna in the PABGI have revealed the dependence of these parameters not only on the species composition of plants, but also on their life forms.
