Migration and the demographic situation in the region

The article deals with the factors of interrelation of the demographic situation, population migration and economic development of the region. The nature of the relationship between these factors is revealed, which allowed to formulate the main trends in the demographic processes and migration flows in the region. On the basis of the research of indicators of socio-economic development, demography and migration in the Republic of Bashkortostan the conclusion is made that the current negative trends in demographic and migration processes affect the dynamics of economic growth, but GRP per capita in the region shows a consistent growth due to the decrease in the population..
