Migration processes of the 1950's and their influence on demographic structure of the Kuban population

The article has been prepared on the basis of archival material and demographic statistic documents; it evo-lutes migration processes of the 1950-s, the period when the government confessed to an error of some nations deportation. Rehabilitation measures allowed many of them to return to the Kuban. At the same time political liberalization intensified other migration flows as well, which in turn affected the demographic structure of the Kuban population.
