Migration in the Russian Far East: experience, challenges, prospects for development

Migration in the Far East of Russia has its peculiarities. Effective regulation of migration processes allows to create the conditions for sustainable development of the country, the observance of human rights and freedoms, as well as improving the quality of life of the population of the Russian state. In the context of the growth of the compensatory role of migration in the formation of the population of the Russian Far East we can see a serious change in the socio-demographic and ethnic composition of the permanent and temporary labour immigrants.
