In the article on the basis of sociological research in three regions of the country the practices of socioeconomic interactions of labor migrants and native countrymen are considered. There has been revealed a specificity of contacts depending on the types of migrants arriving with different purposes and orientations so as to take roots in the receiving country. It is marked that labor migrants, being heterogeneous on demographic, professional characteristics, mastering the language and level of education, have different aims of the arrival to the Russian Federation. The author explains the specificity of socio-economic interaction depending on the places of application of labor by migrants, duration of staying, taking roots in a new environment. The analysis lets to formulate a view about factors defining both solidarity and preconditions of conflicts in interaction between migrants and native population. The models of socio-economic interaction, described in the article, are based on the empirical data -results of interrogatory of experts and interview of migrants and native countrymen. In this context the situation in the Russian countryside and agro-food complex is shown which is characterized on the one hand by the surplus of able to work people and on the other hand by the incapability of modern economic structures to give working place for all rural people. In spite of this contradiction labor migrants have a space of employment which, to the author's mind, has a perspective to widen. The author comes to the conclusion that with the balanced exchange of material resources and spiritual values between the representatives of both sides there are removed the preconditions for contradictions and conflicts in the space of their intercourse. At the same time the asymmetry of social actions is able to influence on the appearance and escalation of tension and it causes the necessity of constant monitoring and correction of migration policy.
