Microbial proteins and peptides showing promise for ecologically compatible plant protection against phytopathogens

Бесплатный доступ

This paper reviewed some results of investigations of microbial proteins and peptides, which either inhibit growth of plant pathogens (antimicrobial peptides, lytic enzymes) or induce plant resistance to diseases (elicitor proteins). Main approaches to application of microbial proteins and peptides against most damaging causative agents and potential of these compounds in biocontrol of plant pathogens were discussed.
