This work demonstrates the feasibility of implementing microdispersed spraying in negative mode using 50 mM ammonium bicarbonate in a 50% aqueous ethanol solution. Using diclofenac as an example, it has been shown that the developed methodology allows to reduce the influence of salts on mass-spectrometric analysis and avoid the need for preliminary sample preparation. The focus is on optimizing spraying parameters, including the formation of a stable meniscus and the operational conditions of the setup. The results confirm that the microdispersed spraying method in negative mode can be successfully applied for the analysis of lowmolecular-weight compounds and open new opportunities for further research in analytical chemistry
