Microfinance in Russia: history, problems, prospects

This work is devoted to the actual problem of microfinance organizations in the modern market. The main trends in the market of microfinance services are identified and their assessment is given. The impact of the economic crisis in Russia and Central Bank policy on the development of MFOs is determined. The article considers the levers of state influence on the sphere of microcredit, as well as the prospects of its further development. As a result, possible steps to improve the control system of microfinance organizations and improve the level of financial literacy of the population are proposed.
