The article is devoted to structural-semantic and motivational analysis of the lexical-semantic microfield “Stubborn” in the Tver dialects. Analysis polysemanticism relations of lexemes of the given microfield and the reasoning characteristics that formed the basis of nominations stubborn person, confirmed the importance of this quality characteristic of a person and reflected the specificity of people’s thinking and attitude.
