Milica Nikolaevna and Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov's: from Montenegrin princesses to grand duchess at the court of Nicolas II

This article is based on Russian and Montenegrin archival documents, huge base of memoirs, as well on historiography. Author reconstructs the lives of Milica and Anastasia, their way from Montenegrin princess to Russian grand duchess, who were quite influential at the court of the last Russian emperor.
